Nicholas Querques is a Project Manager on the Technology and Business Innovation team at NYSERDA. NYSERDA advances innovative energy solutions in ways that improve New York's economy and environment. Nick manages NYSERDA’s clean energy business incubator program, which includes six incubators across the state, and other innovation programs to engage and connect entrepreneurs and startup companies with investors and development partners. He is also a Technology to Market Advisor and provides commercialization assistance to companies in NYSERDA’s investment portfolio.
Prior to NYSERDA, Nick was Assistant Vice President for Clean Energy Programs at SUNY Polytechnic Institute's Colleges of Nanoscale Science and Engineering. In 2010, he co-founded MICROrganic Technologies, a biotechnology startup that is developing and commercializing microbial fuel cell technologies for wastewater treatment applications.
Nick holds a BS in finance and management magna cum laude and an MBA in information technology and nanotechnology from the University at Albany-SUNY.
